I have done some intense searches to find the best price. I tried all of my tricks including trying to find sites with rebates, sites with coupons, and sites with sales. Unfortunately the best I was able to find was just a hair off of the retail of $799.99. The reason for this is this GPS unit was just released last week so there are no sales, rebates or coupons for it right now.

All is not lost though. It's time to get creative.

Ok Circuit City has the GPS for $799.99. Do a search on eBay for 'circuit city 10 off 199' you should get some hits for 10% off of $199+ coupons. Read the fine print of the coupon and look at the feedback of the seller BEFORE you purchase the coupon! Once you comfortable, purchase the coupon on eBay. It should be around $4 - $5. Now buy the GPS online at CircuitCity.com and apply the coupon. The total of the GPS will be 799.99 + Tax Shipped Free.

I'm going to use a tax rate of 8.25% to get the total price.

GPS Price: $799.99
Coupon Discount: - $80.00
Coupon Price: + $5.00
Tax: + $66.00

Total: $790.99

The total still isn't that amazing, but it's the best you will find right now. If you wait you may be able to find additional rebates. If you don't want the hassle of eBay and the coupon you can purchase the GPS directly from a site that doesn't charge tax or shipping. The best price I found w/ no coupons or discounts is from TigerGPS.com for $799.95 shipped with no tax.
