Question

My sheep is having difficulty urinating and showing some blood in his urine. Is there something I can do quickly short of getting a vet out here? Thank you.

Answer

You really need to have a vet at least do a urinalysis to rule out a urinary tract infection. If you can catch a clean urine sample your vet may allow you to bring it is so they can analyze it for infection. Give them a call and see. I know of no at home cures for this. If he will drink a lot of water it will help flush his system but if he has an infection or bladder stones this is not going to help.
