Question

I deleted some files this afternoon thinking they msn messenger files and they weren't they were i believe msninstallexe. files howerver now i cannot open microsoft programs i get a windows install box and then a box that say ."this patch package could not be opened.verify that the patch package exists and that you can access to it or contact the application vendor that this a valid windows installer patch package."i have veified that my 3.1 installer is there i have try too reinstall my microsoft works suite 2006 cd's however my 5150c dell dimension desktop will not load them. if i could just get back the files that allow me too run the installer that might work,i did download another 3.1 installer but that didn't work can you help me retrieve these files.i believe there were 2 msninsaller files or msn installerexe.files may have been 1 msiinstallereexe file?.hope you can help
