Hi, I'm a 23 year old female. About 2 weeks ago I got my own apartment. I haven't tod my parents yet, and I'm afraid they are going to freak out. I have lived at home in the same house all my life. I'm afraid how they will react. They think it's stupid to pay rent when you can live for free (which I did when I lived with them). However I have had a very hard time living at home and I am so much happier having my own place. My 29 year old sister still lives at home and I don't want to end up like her. I do not regret my decision one bit, but I need advice on how to tell them I have moved out. I am terrified at how they will react. Any advice on how to break the news??
