Hello I am a student at a university and I am working on an organic chemistry lab question. The question is Describe an alternative method for making cyclohexene that doesn't involve acidic conditions. Give a complete set of conditions to accomplish the synthesis and a mechanism as well? I have been looking for something but all I could find was KOH in alcohol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
