Samsung VHS HQ

My mother has approximately eight year old Samsung VHS HQ, I had a DVD hooked up to it and activated it by pushing "line in" button on the remote. The problem is that she is in a senior facility and the remote has gone missing. Is there an replacement remote? Also, how do we get the DVD to be able to play?

Hello

If there is another input on the tv you could put the dvd player on it

As far as a remote there are several after market one for all's just make sure it's compatible with the vcr

Reply to glenn's Post: There is plug on the back and front for the VCR, but put still the remotes I got did not activate it.
