Heater hose replacement

95 S10 P/U 4.3 Z. Heater hose. I was replacing the heater hose, and find that one outlet on the heater core is 3/4" and the other is 5/8". The hose that's in place is attached at one end to the 3/4" core tube, and the other is going to the 5/8" manifold pipe. Plus, the 5/8" core tube is going to the 3/4" water pump pipe. Does this make sense? I can see the hose was stretched and forced on the 3/4" ends.
The 3/4" core tube is on the passenger side.

Hello

Doesn't make sense to me

I would put the 3/4 to the 3/4 fitting and the 5/8 to 5/8

The heater core doesn't care where the water comes from or what direction it comes in

I hope this helps if not let me know.If it did please click the {Green}accept button
A bonus is always nice and don't forget to leave feed back

thanks   Glenn
