Question

I have had my 15 month old Syberian Husky on Front Line flee and tick scence she was 6 months old. Yesterday I noticed flees on her legs and belly. Would you suggest changeing medication? Would it be safe to start the medication right away? Or is it safe to give her a flee bath while on flee med.

Answer

Frontline does not kill fleas on contact and doesn't keep fleas from jumping on. However the fleas should die within 24 hours.
You might check to see how long ago she had her med and if you are using the right amount for her size as she is now as she's been a growing pup.
If she is going out to a yard that has fleas in it then consider using an insect growth regulator treatment. You can read about that here
http://www.fleasmart.com/igr.htm
You can also spray the floors in your home with a flea killer and IGR. This is the one I use

I would not bathe the dog with a flea shampoo (I'd treat the environment instead) although you can if you want to. Pick one with a pyrethrin based flea killer and follow the directions. The Frontline should not wash off when you do that.
Hope this helps you!
