choose a south American country - Venezuela

traditional breads - Cachapa (sweet corn pancake served w/cheese) or

traditional cakes - Arepas (corn flour cake which can be filled with just about anything!)

traditional sweets - Empanada (which can also be filled with anything ranging from beans, ham cheese, fruits, etc.. it all depends on your taste buds)

MENU:

1. Cachapa topped with cheese

2. Empanada fill with: (choose 1 filling)

Pineapple, mango, papaya, oranges, avocado, banana, melon, guava, coconut

3. Arepita Dulce - bite size served with dipping sauce

4. Quesillo - (flan w/ caramel)

5. Obleas - (cookie filled with dulce de leche)

6. Arepas - (filled with same toppings found above)

7. Chocolate Cake - (using Venezuela chocolate)

8. Coffee (which is famously produced in Venezuela)

9. Juice - (freshly made juice papaya, orange, pineapple, guava)

What you learned is that most Venezuelans don't use bread as we do in the states, they usually use Arepas. Also, that Venezuela is one of the leading producers of cacao beans, which are used to make chocolate.
