Are these eye glasses or drinking glasses?

Dear 21,

Janvil produces one of the very few products available on the market for restoring plastic. http://www.janvil.com/plastic_polish.htm

I do not recommend restoring or attempting to restore eye glasses or sunglasses. The refractive surface is affected by the polishing of the lens. Hence, your prescription of the glasses will change. The sunglasses may develop a refractive surface that may be detrimental to your vision while you wear the glasses.

I would also read instructions very carefully to make sure that drinking glasses will remain suitable for drinking beverages.

REMEMBER: In the world of plastic containers, many health experts and researchers, recognize, that the only truly healthy beverage container is glass. Damage plastic containers, otherwise held suitable for human consumption by the FDA may loose this suitability when you use plastic restorers.

Here is another product you might consider:

There really is no safe way to get scratches out of plastic glasses so that they retain the same utility they had when you started.
