I have a 2004 F150. When I purchased this truck I did not recieve the keypad code. I have heard that it is located on the truck, can you tell me where?

Answer

Each vehicle equipped with a keyless entry keypad is programmed with a 5-digit entry code. This code is provided to the customer through a wallet card in the owner literature package. In addition, this code is available through a diagnostic tool and is also printed on the vehicle security module label. When entering codes each digit must be entered within 5 seconds of the previous button press. Here is the locations of the VSM (Vehicle Security Module)

Regular cab

Remove the LR quarter trim panel.
