You don't want a lot of contrast, so lighten with shades of chestnut, light brown or very thinly touched up shades of dark blond. If you go reds, you skin tone will clash. The VERY best thing to go, is call a local beauty salon and ask for a consult. These are free and they will take stains of different colors of hair and pin them to your hair and you can see what looks best to you. Make sure you go in the natural light to see it so you can tell exactly how it works. If you want to go exotic you can do man made colors, but only a professional can tell you how that would work with your type of hair and skin tone.
