Question

I have a 1998 pontaic grand am and the engine is a 2.4. I am trying to hook the engine back into the vehicle, but the wiring seems to be wrong. When I try to turn the car on, there is no sound or hesitation. What do I fo about this problem? What wires need to be plugged in to make the car start up from the inside, instead of the out side?
