oldsmobile intrigue 1999 year 3800 series 2 rpm drops while driving

Answer

If you are lacking some serious power the convertor is probably clogged.A back pressure test would confirm it or a ride from an experienced tech.If you have less than 80k miles it will be a free repair under the federal emission warranty.I have been seeing a high number of 3800 series II engines do this lately some were under recall but I don't remember what years. If this has helped you please click on my accpet button. If it helped you very much you may add a bonus if you wish to do so.
