Question

My dog has something wrong with his digestion. About every three or four days, he doesnt feel like eating (and he loves eating). Also, he goes to have a bloody, runny, bowel movement soon after. He lies around most the day. This remains for a day or two then resolves, then returns. I have already taken him to the vet and was given an medication for any possible virus/bacteria/parasite.
Should I take him in for blood work to check for H/H, cancer issues, or GI problems?
