Question

My daughter's pampered 8 month-old Min Schnauzer has 3 circular spots on his shoulder, belly and inside thigh area. They are not itchy, and appeared suddenly. He has had all the preventive treatments for parasites, etc, and is a house dog. There appears to be a center pinpoint area, as in a bite. They are flat, not oozing or scaly. Her vet is moving and not available until next week. She would appreciate any help.

If she lives in an area where there are black flies or midges this sounds a lot like what those sorts of bites look like. Those biting insects are usually spring problems.
She can see if using some cortisone cream helps clear them up.
A flying insect repellent for dogs before going out on walks might keep this from happening.
