I just purchased a car on 9/14/04, the bill of sale say 9/13/04, I dont like the car, and I dont like the service at the dealeship, I want to give the car back now and get my 7500.00 deposite back, I’m in NYC what do I need to do.

If you have one or more specific complaints about the car and or the dealership -- I recommend you contact the State of New York Consumer Protection Bureau.

Their web site does not list telephone numbers but, you will find instructions on Filing a Complaint here.

I don't know whether the one-day data error on your Bill of Sale would give you any kind of a 'loophole" to get your deposit back.

You might also look in your Yellow Pages -- to find an attorney to talk to that specializes in consumer issues -- many attorneys do not charge for a first visit.
