Question

My bitch has just started to bleed. At what point do I introduce the male for breeding? And how many times do I let them hook up for a successful session?

Answer

The bitch will usually start to allow the male to mount around day 9 in her cycle. So, from day 9 forward, be sure to put them together once a day until you get a successful tie. If they tie once, she's pregnant but you might want to let them tie more than once to produce a larger litter.
