Antique rifle value

Sent to General Experts April 24 05:23 PM

I' m wondering about a ballpark value for 45-70 Springfield rifle. It is a single shot trap door model. I don't know the model number. It has a cleaning rod and an adjustable sight. There is also a compartment in the butt for a cleaning rag and additional cartridge. The initials "SWP" with the year 1891 engraved on the stock. It has "US Springfield" and a picture of an eagle stamped on the metal portion of the magazine. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Toeman
