Question

Need to remove door panel to get to side view mirror wire harness.

 Mind you but i use better pictures than words to understand something...these diagrams are for Altima ..i do not have for Quest.  if you can get inspired used them if not ..i tried.  Maybe others can do better.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the interior door panel.

  3. Carefully pry up the plastic cover.

  4. Remove the sail trim panel.

  5. On power mirrors, disconnect the mirror electrical harness.

  6. Remove the mirror attaching screws, then carefully pull the mirror from the door.

To install:

  1. Position the mirror on the vehicle, making sure the rubber molding around the mirror is installed correctly.

  2. Install the mirror attaching screws and tighten securely.

  3. On power mirrors, connect the mirror electrical harness.

  4. Install the sail trim panel.

  5. Position the plastic cover and push into place to engage the tangs.

  6. Install the interior door panel.

  7. Connect the negative battery cable.

  1. Open the door fully.

  2. Remove the inside handle escutcheon.

  3. Remove the pull handle.

  4. If so equipped, remove the power window switch trim and switch assembly.

  5. If applicable, disconnect the switch assembly wiring harness.

The door panel is held in place by several clips. Use a door panel clip removal tool to avoid damaging the clips, door panel or door.

  1. Carefully pry the door panel from the door.

  2. Lift the door panel straight up to release it from the lip at the top of the door.

To install:

  1. Replace any damaged clips.

  2. Position the door panel on the door frame and ensure that the panel fits over the lip at the top of the door.

  3. Align the clips with the holes in the door and, using your fist, tap the door panel into place.

  4. Connect the switch assembly wiring harness, if so equipped.

  5. If applicable, install the power window switch trim and switch assembly.

  6. Install the pull handle.

  7. Install the inside handle escutcheon.
