No. Printing of the current series of $10 notes began in 2005. Even though the first public release into circulation occurred in March 2006, the notes bear the year the series was first created. The Series year only changes when there is a design or signature change. Unlike coins, the "Series" date shown is not necessarily the year it was actually made.
