If they do not, offer such services -- ask them if they know of
someone who does -- also check with local furniture dealers, auctions
etc.
If you are still coming up blank,
emailappraisals.com offers (you guessed it) appraisals by e-mail -- based on a description and, if possible, pictures.
A quick comment about shipping these items -- be sure to declare them
as antiques when ensuring/shipping them. If you do not do so, and
have a loss-claim, the shipping company may have grounds for not paying
you the full antique value -- even if you have purchased enough
insurance to cover that value.
