Hi Michael,

It sounds like you have a fantastic gun, and I believe you got it for a steal! I spoke to a friend over at http://www.collectorsfirearms.com and they even expressed an eagerness to purchase the gun should you ever be in the market to sell it. They couldn't give a price without seeing some jpegs of the gun, but he said drop him an email anytime and he'd be happy to give you some numbers.

Although a guns worth is really what someone is willing to pay for it, after researching, I believe you can ask for well over 2000 for that gun.

Here are some links to help you look around.

http://www.antiqueguns.com/
they have an auction section where you can search for similiar guns to get estimated pricing.

Here's is a winchester FAQ section of Factfarms site
http://www.faqfarm.com/Q/FAQ/410

I hope this helped and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask for my assistance.

Chase

Too bad I didn't see the other question listed for 10, but I'd always accept a bonus if you're satisfied. ::wink:::
