The commercial method for producing corn
oil won't work too well on a small scall basis. When corn is milled the germ is seperated from the rest of the corn kernel. The seperated germ is then heated and pressed to squeeze out the oil.
You could try to just press whole kernel corn in a hydraulic oil press, sut from what I've read it wouldn't be too effective. When comparing corn to soybeans, peanuts, or sunflower seeds, it doesn't have a very high oil content. Extracting the oil is only effective when doing so in large quantities. Hence, if you use one of the aforementioned sources, the process will be streamlined and more effective.
