need to find a towel or blanket to protect an older lady who smokes. She keeps burning her pj's.

Already Tried:
lady is blind and on hospice so we want her to enjoy her cigs but not burn up. Tell her not to smoke in bed at least.

There is not a blanket or towel out there that will not burn. I strongly urge you to have someone else hold onto the cigarettes and supervise her closely when she is smoking.

A very long cigarette holder might work but with the terrible fires occurring daily around the world, she must be made to understand that she is not only a risk to herself but to others as well! Do this...it'll do everbody good.

Hello.....

While I agree fully with the expert above...she should never be left alone with a burning cigarettes, there are measures that can be taken to improve the situation if this is not possible. I agree with you it would be cruel to take away the cigarette's at this stage...the withdraws of not having her nicotine would only cause her to suffer more.

There is a blanket that can be bought that is fire retardant, I am including a link to where it can be purchased, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a link that will take you to fire proof blankets.
