Answer

A sharp localized pain in your breast could have been caused by a trauma to your breast or from your chest wall. Usually a sharp pain in the breast isn't due to a breast tumor; however, if you continue to have the sharp pain for more than a week or it becomes more severe, then you should be examined by your primary care physician who will evaluate your pain and possibly follow-up with imaging and a mammogram/US to rule-out a cyst caused by monthly hormones.
