Will not taking the AP exam affect your admission status?

I had planned to take the AP test, but I ended up not signing up for it. I was admitted into a college, and i want to know if not taking the Ap test will affect the admissions decision since it is not required.

Okay, let me ask you a question. You are accepted right? That's what you wanted .Leave it alone. My kids have all different abilities all during school. The Ap test just adds to you admission level in the event you needed some strenght in one level of academics. Obviously the school excepted you, so thats all you need right now. It was NOT required. Now your goal is to get a plan, study hard and get good grades. The hard part begins now. You are going to be on your own, and will be responsible for making it to class, geting your assignments in on time and graduating. This is your job now. I wish you the best. I believe you can do it. So go for it!! Good luck!

If you have any other questions, let me know.

I'm sorry, I thought I was clear on that. No it does not make a difference if it is NOT required. The AP helps those that are marginal in one area of study and need it to boost their acceptance to a particular area of study, like nursing, or a specified area of degree. Does that help you now?
