Not quite sure if it is a rat bite, but the bite is very small and located on the cat's hind paw, on the heel. It's not very swollen, but the skin around the area is very very red.

Answer

The only thing that you can do for her at home is wash the area well with peroxide or betadine. Then dry it completely and apply some neosporin ointment.

If this does not help, you will want to see your vet.

Cats cannot tolerate very many OTC medications.
