Two weeks ago I had broken out with a large pimple on the side of my chin. I picked at it alittle to much and now it is healed over but is still very red and deep. It is about the size of a dime. Is there something I can do to prevent scarring and take down the reddness?? Its to lage and deep to hide. Any advice would be great

Hi,

I would suggest to you to see a Dermatologist. You may need incision and drainage of lesion. So let the Dermatologist to tell you what needs to be done.

The face is important area of the body so it is important that any lesion in the face area to be seen by the Dermatologist to prevent the lesion becoming worse and causing a scar. So you need a care of the Skin specialist.
