MFT: Marriage and Family Therapist

Mft's are licensed by their state
Requirements include:

Academic program: minimum of 48 semester units and supervised clinical training.
Supervised clinical experience: 3000 hours of relevant MFT clinical experience.
Licensure exam: written and oral exam.

Licenses are renewed every two years and require 36 hours of Continuing Education credits.

MFCC: Marriage, Family, Child Counselor lisence has been changed to Marriage Family Therapist.
Some schools offer it as a concentration but graduates apply for the MFT licence.
