1. I have a residential rental property owned by a partnership. Building cost $275000, renorvation 150000. We have refinance for 500,000. took 90000 to ourself for personal use. Now we have a buyer for 625000. We owne the propery for less then 2 years. What will capital gain be?
2. With the proceed one partner looking to by a personal resident. is there any loophole I can use to avoid paying Shorterm capital gain.
