I am arriving in Paris in a few days, and I wish to know how to get Euros for dollars?

I will give you advice from my own personal experience.

Do NOT exchange your money in Paris -- you will be ripped off.

Exchange your money here in the states at your local bank -- any back can do it, otherwise, there are places in every international airport that can also do it.

Also -- only carry enough cash for stuff that you may not be able to use a credit card for and pay for everything you can with a CC -- you will get a better exchange rate, and you have less risk of being robbed.

Are you saying that I can get the Euro at the airport in Paris? And if so, why wouldn't the exchange rate be better there.
