Question
I have a 10 year old gelding that has some type of rash on his legs from the hock down. The front legs are not as bad, but the back legs are bloody from all the rubbing he is doing. He is in a corral of panels so there is nothing sharp or rough for him to rub on. I am now wrapping his legs from the hock down after washing and putting ointment on them. What should I be using on them? I have used antibacterial soap, Furicon, corona and other ointments but this year is the worst. It is very dry here in Montana and I feel that this is not helping. Can you give me sugestions???
