Question

I have a three year old Calico. Last week she got very lethargic and I noticed a quick drop in her weight (she was overweight at the time). She took to staying in one corner of the room and when she would try to get up, she'd lose her balance and was visibly weak. I took her to the emergency room four days ago, they found nothing, and I was going to take her to the vet today for a full exam. She died last night. What could have been wrong with her.
