Question

I am a 39 yr old male and I weight train four or five times a week and have been doing so for most of my life. I in the middle of a Bench Press routine that is designed to raise "my one rep max" by the end. I have a goal weight in mind to reach by or near my fortieth Birthday.During last nights work out my workout ended with a heavy one rep negative set. In the middle of that one rep I had what felt like a really intense cramp in my right peck. I knew something wasn't right so I signaled my spotter to take the weight. I continued to work out with much lighter weight with little or no pain. I am sore today but no constant aching pain and there is no bruising or swelling in the area. The injury occured through the middle of the peck and the tendons do not seem to hurt. Is this something that should make me stop this workout and try again later or should I try to continue next week pending the sorness in gone. Also, I am drug free but do have a lofty goal (for my size) of a 400 lb Bench Press. Hope you have all the information you need.
