will along with the oil and filter change they are rotating the tires and checking your brakes.. the bealer dos a safety check every time you bring it for what ever any resin you bring it in so you cant say when you drive way you can't Say that they did something to your car and for all that they are charging you
so if you can do your one servicing i would do it. only tack your car to the dealer if there is a problem and it is under warranty and if that is why you are tacking it there.. there are other places you can tack it as long as you have a record of the work that is done that will not void your warranty...
the dealer works and charges a shop rate all work to be done has a set time it should tack to do the work like a oil change that will tack 2 houris and you pay for the labor time of 2 houris and the new oil, oil filter the disposal of the used oil and filter from your car.along with this you are paying for a safety check list to inshore that there is know safety problems that cone back to be the fault of the dealer.
