Question

I have a 1997 Cadillac Deville Concours. It loses power steering when making left turns. It does not have any problems making right turns. The left is on and off again. What would the problem be?

Answer

It's probably a problem with valving sticking in the rack and pinion.

The cure would be to replace it with a remanufactured unit.
