Hello and welcome to JA.

Here's what I was able to find for you:

(1) It looks like Key Lake Exploration Limited is no longer in business. It is not listed in the directories of Canadian companies: canadianbusinessdirectory.ca, newswire.ca, Canadian Trading and Quotation System, etc.

(2) The company existed under the name Key Lake Explorations Ltd. since June 1978.

(3) According to The Canadian Mining News Online, the latest information on the company they have is from around 1990-1991:
Address: 210, 55A Porte St. E. Mississauga, ON L5G 4P3
Tel: XXX-XXX-XXXX

(4) The Ontario Securities Commision has this record (last update 1/27/2006):
Key Lake Exploration Limited: Cease Traded, Order Date Jun 7, 1989.

(5) Excerpt from the book "The Gulliver File. Mines, people and land: a global battleground" by Roger Moody, published in 1992 by Minewatch:
Key Lake Explorations Ltd (CDN)
Not to be confused with the Key Lake Mining Corp, Key Lake Explorations is backed by Amax, has its HQ in Toronto, and has held uranium claims in the Key Lake, La Ronge, and Athabasca areas of Saskatchewan, as well as at Thunder Bay, Ontario. Its president, EM Dillman, reportedly holds a third of the shares.

(6) Elmore M. Dillman, the above mentioned president of Key Lake Mining, died at age 78 in 1996. The Northern Miner published an obituary on July 29, 1996. Unfortunately, the text cannot be accessed without subscription.

(7) The latest mention of Key Lake Exploration that I can find is in the papers of Roxmark Mines Limited:
Between 1995 and 1997, Roxmark earned from Placer Dome Canada Limited and Key Lake Explorations Limited a 100% interest in 26 patented claims and mining leases.

In summary, it seems that Key Lake Explorations has been out of business since at least 1996. Most likely the shares that you have are not worth anything.

The Canadian Mining News Online offers an inexpensive stock research service, you could try contacting them for a second opinion before giving up.
