Question

Steel Cables For Sewer Rodding

Sent to General Experts February 01, 2006 8:23 a.m.

I Need to find out about the steel cable used for sewer rodding machines. I get alot of explanations and differant pricing and contradiction. Example Left hand wound v/s Right. Music piano wire-aircraft wire- s/steel/Great fatigue/etc . I Use a 3/4 steel cable and know I Usually deal with root augering. I Need good flexability to negotiate bends, strenth, not to snap the cable, A Cable that will not rust away due to harsh chemicals in the sewer line before I arrive to clear blockage. Bottom line are they all trying to confuse us plbrs figuring no one will do the math? Please Advise Thank You
