Do you mean with scissors? Or clippers? What problem are you running into?

I have a two year old Englisg Springer Spaniel.
She is healthy in every way. The Vet lives a good drive away from us. When it comes to health issues she goes to the vet. Between visits I would like to trim her ears to keep them from knotting. I also trim nails. How can I make this easy on sophie so I don't scae her there for ruining the process before it get started. Any
thing you could share with us, would be greatley
recieved.

with scissors.

It's really scary to clip with scissors. If you decide to go this route, be sure to only cut level with the skin. And don't pull the hair because this lifts the skin and will pull it into the blades of the scissors.

Instead, I would buy a clipper set (cheap one is 19.99 at walmart). Then use this (comes with an instructional video) to trim her. It takes some practice but it can help prevent mats between vet visit.

Let me know if you still have questions.
