thanks for your answer but i am still concerned about the fingerprint procedure. will they show up my conviction even though i'm using a new passport. would the fingerprints be the reason i first got refused entry

Hi
Fingerprints is like ADN. It will follow you where ever you go, and anyone getting your fingerprint will be able to trace you and match you with a previous record. Hope this helps.

that doasnt really answer question.i think only immigration can really answer my question why would i of been pulled into immigration in the first place for a petty theft.
