My 8 week ol son, places his tongue alot on the roof of his mouth and sticks out his tongue alot, is this normal?

Answer

Yes, this is completely normal. He's just experiementing with his tongue now that he's "found" it. Lots of babies do this. Sometimes when they smile too. I know both of mine did. It's a phase he's going through so try to enjoy it!
