Hello. I don't know what type of questions that you answer but I might as well give it a try because I'm desperate. I just went to a hair dresser and wanted to fix my roots(I'm a satisfied fake blonde) and then do highlights to make it a little brighter and boost it up, I said that and that I wanted it the same way I had it but a little brighter. She asked me to pick a base that she would use for the roots(and then have in the whole hair a short time to even it out)and I picked one that was a little brighter than my hair. I trusted the hairdresser and she put it in. When it was done my blonde was gone and it looked brown/red but she told me that it was because it was wet but I knew something was wrong so I told her to stop to check it out..She blowdried my hair and it looked aweful! She was going to put in some highlights but there was no way that it would look good and she said that the highlights weren't going to show... The hair is red/lightbrown with a tint of green, it looks horrible and so discoloured. She said there was nothing she could do to fix it because it was so dry and breaking...I left the salon after half the treatment, still paid!!! ANYWAY, so now you know a little how the hair is like and my question is what can I do? I want to go back to the way it was, do you know a place I can go somewhere in Connecticut where they have a GREAT hair and color expert, I need them to take a look at it and tell me what I can or can not do..Have you any advices? I'm trying to make it stronger again with deep conditioning every day, oil treatments and anything I can put in it, I have no idea how long I have to wait before being able to do anything about it and even less what to do with it....Can you please help me?? Thank you so much in advance!/Karin Hermansson (swedish exchangestudent, sorry if my english confuses you)

First off if your hair turned greenish there is already way too much chemical treatment in your hair and if it is breaking off you may want to continue deep conditioner and leave it alone for at least six weeks. Then get it cut, even just a couple of inches to get rid of the damaged ends. When you had the wrong colour you should of refused to pay. You can go to the web for answers from professional hair color experts at any brand name hair dye website. Always with Blonde you must first strip any dark pigment out of your hair for the blond to color properly. Peroxide and bleach damage the hair so badly when you do it all the time that you need to make sure you have a professional that guarentees your outcome. I would go back and request at the very least a free "trim" and a bottle of good condition as she is the one who dyed your hair the wrong color. If she refuses talk to her boss. You should get something out of this greenish misteak. When mine turned green I simply conditioned it constantly and waited six weeks (wearing a bandanna the entire time) and then stripped and re dyed my whole head the same blond. Hope I have helped.
