Question

I bought bad cigerettes and don't know if I have any legal recourse.

Sent to General Experts January 23, 2004 12:08 p.m.

I bought a carton of cigerettes and 3 of the 10 packs have holes in the box and several holes in the filters. There is a gritty looking substance on the filters, brown/black in color. Salem wants me to mail the cigerettes back to them and they will replace the packs. My husband smoked some of them before realizing the holes and substance. Salem tells me that they will test them to see what the matter is, but will not contact us to tell us what the substance is. I asked if there was somewhere I could take them to get them tested and she said no, they will send them out for testing. But won't contact us with the problem with them. Is there anything I should do in this matter?
