Question

I am working on a project .I have 6 halogen lights to put in and run on 2 dimmers.2 lights on 1 and 4 on thr other.Any help appreciated IO am using 14/2 wire directly from the panel.

Answer

Dimmers are wired in the same way as a regular 2 way toggle switch. Look at the following diagram and use it as a guide. Ignore the receptacle, that will be your feed from the panel. Make sure that your breaker is a 15A if you are using 14/2 wiring.
