Can you please provide the model code and the version of the unit,you can find this information on the label on the right side of the tv.
It should be something like HPS4253X/XAA and then there will be a ver#SD01or something like this.
There are many versions under the same model#,and I need to correctly identify this unit,in order to provide you the correct part#,

The model code is the correct one,but I would need the VER#(or version#) listed only on the label on the right side of the tv.

Since the tuner is not working on "cable" and you already tried the tv set with another cable input signal,the issue with this tv set will be the main board.This is the board where the tuner is,and this is a board level repair(no components available).
The part# for this main board is:
BN94-00859B
It seems to be available at:

It is not very hard to replace,but you still need some electronic background ,and experience to do it.
there are no adjustments necessary after replacing this board ,it should be already preprogrammed and adjusted out of the box!
If you are not comfortable to perform this repair,add another $100 as labor fee.
