I have recently become the proud new owner of what looks to be a 1962ish Shasta right here in Coolidge Ga!!!! My question is has anyone ever restored a Shasta w/ out removing the "skin"....we are 2 women and our skills are limited but are excitement is high and willing to get her on the road....

I'm intrigued. It would help me and other experts here if you could maybe explain what a 1962 Shasta is.
