Question

My son received an informational subpoena from a Law Office in Woodbury, NY. He doesn't live with me. I don't know where he is living right now. I do know that he is a street person, a drug addict and has no job. I keep opening his mail and have been getting notices from this law firm for 1.5 years. I called them, but they will not speak to me without his permission, which, obviously, is impossible for me to get. I could answer the questions on the subpoena myself, as he has no assets and no job. What should I do? He went on a drug binge 2 years ago, purchased a motorcycle and a jet ski on credit...don't know how he even got credit as he hasn't worked in almost 3 years...the motorcycle was repossessed, the jet ski was stolen by a druggie he probably owed money to. Please advise.
