Question

a noise =whirling sound from oven when turning convection on...will not go way when "off" and is not related to fan -it is not spinning when noise there...and can not make it stop unless fuse off...

on off with fuse know its not large fan in back of upper oven not sure if its from upper or lower ovens work despite noise

oven is about 17 yrs old

You have to have a bad cooling fan. This is the only moving part on the range that moves in both bake and convection bake.
