It will be hard to speculate what was found, but most likely it was a portion of the liver profile. Lipitor is metabolized in the liver, so liver enzymes have to be monitored. This drug is also excreted by the kidneys, so your BUN and Creatinine levels might have been found to be abnormal.
I would call the office on Monday if they are open and just ask the Nurse at the office if she can tell you what your liver function tests looked like...if they were normal or abnormal. I would imagine that the liver tests is what made the Dr decide to take you off.
